    Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how CUBE84 Inc ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience, analyze our website traffic, and provide personalized content and advertisements. By using our website, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with this policy.

    What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit our website. They allow us to recognize your device and store certain information about your preferences or past actions.

    Types of cookies we use

We use the following types of cookies:

    1. Essential Cookies
    2. Analytics Cookies
    3. Targeting Cookies

    1. Essential Cookies

These are necessary for the website to function properly and cannot be switched off.

Session cookies: These maintain your logged-in status as you navigate through different pages of a website.

      Example:
When you log into your account on an e-commerce site, a session cookie allows you to add items to your cart without having to log in again on each page.

    2. Analytics Cookies

Analytics cookies track and analyze user behavior across the website, providing insights that help us enhance performance and usability. These cookies gather information about the pages visitors view, the time spent on each page, and how users navigate to and within the site. While these cookies collect data, it is aggregated and anonymized, ensuring that no personally identifiable information is stored.

      Why We Use Analytics Cookies:

      • Track the number of visitors and sessions over time.
      • Identify the most and least visited pages, helping us enhance relevant content.
      • Monitor bounce rates, session duration, and navigation paths to optimize the site’s structure.
      • Understand referral sources (e.g., search engines, social media)
      • Detects errors and bottlenecks, ensuring a smoother browsing experience.

      Example:

We use Google Analytics to record which pages you visit, the duration of your visit, and how you reached the site (such as through a search engine or external link). Google Analytics may set cookies like _ga and _gid to differentiate between unique users and sessions.

    3. Targeting cookies:

We use targeting cookies to deliver advertisements more relevant to you and your interests. These cookies remember the websites you visit and share this information with other parties such as advertisers. You can turn them on and off based on your preferences

Specifically, we use the following targeting technologies:

    How to manage cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. However, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience, as it will no longer be personalized to you. It may also stop you from saving customized settings like login information.

    Your rights and choices

For users in the United Kingdom, you have the right to choose whether or not to accept cookies. UK law requires that we obtain your consent before we store or access non-essential cookies on your device.

For users in the United States, while there is no federal law specifically governing cookies, some states have enacted privacy laws that may apply to the use of cookies. We recommend reviewing your browser settings and our Privacy Policy for more information on how to manage your preferences.

Appointment of CUBE84 as service provider

The clients acknowledge and accept that by using the Privacy Controls and Cookie Solution they are engaging CUBE84 to process Personal Data as “service provider” pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act. The conditions of engagement are determined by the Service Provider Addendum.

Such an agreement, the conclusion of which is required by law, therefore forms an integral and binding part of the contractual relationship between CUBE84 and its clients.

    Description of the service

The Privacy Controls and Cookie Solution provided by CUBE84 allows websites and apps to request and manage consent for the use of cookies and similar technologies and to handle the preferences of US users related to their privacy rights.

Final users can accept or refuse the installation of cookies and similar technologies or personalize the related consent’s preferences through the banner displayed by the solution upon their first visit to a website or app. If the Cookie and Consent Preference Log (CPL) is enabled, the consent preferences for the installation of cookies and similar technologies expressed by final users are stored in the CPL and can be retrieved at any time.

When final users navigate on a website/application where the CUBE84 Privacy Controls and Cookie Solution is installed, a technical cookie is injected which contains the following information, for which CUBE84 acts as data processor:

    • Cookie Policy id number
    • Consent date and time
    • Consent content (accept/reject)
    • How the consent has been given (banner dismissal, button click etc.)

Depending on the configuration chosen, such a technical cookie can be stored either on the cube84.com domain (if the option enableRemoteConsent is active), or on the client’s domain (default setting).

From the above information, CUBE84 retrieves aggregate counters per day which indicate the number of consents given vs. the totality of the consents requested, including the indication of how the consent is given.

    Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our cookie practices.
